Frequently Asked Questions

  • As soon as possible! We can order a dress from the designer, which usually takes 4-6 months. Or you may choose a gown from our selection of more than 800 gowns in sizes from 0-30. When you purchase a dress from our aisle ready section, you have the option to take your dress home that day!

  • Special order gowns start at $1,200 and go up to about $3,800, with the majority ranging between $1,700 and $2,200. We also carry gowns that may be purchased off the rack starting as low as $799 with the majority ranging between $1,000 and $1,450!

  • Appointments are required on Saturdays, as it is our busiest day of the week, but walk-ins may be accommodated during the week. Saturday appointments fill up fast, so try to schedule your appointment at least 2-3 weeks ahead. If you are looking for a quiet appointment without a lot of hustle and bustle, consider a weekday appointment or a Diamond appointment, which is private and after hours.

  • We charge a $25 cancellation fee for no-shows and Saturday appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Please notify us at least 24 hours before your Saturday appointment if you need to cancel and reschedule. This saves you $25 and allows us to offer the appointment to another bride!

  • We have more than 800 gowns in sizes from 0-30!  Most of our dresses are between a size 10 and 16, as these are the most common sizes. We carry more than 150 gowns sizes 16-28!

  • Our complimentary, Saturday and Gold appointments are 90 minutes. Platinum and Diamond appointments are 2 hours. Our appointments are scheduled back-to-back, so these times are fixed, but we have found (through lots of experience!) that this is plenty of time to find your dream dress. We offer Zoom calls before your appointment so your stylist can get a sense of what you are looking for and pull some dresses before your appointment.

  • You are welcome to bring a strapless bra and shapewear/bustier, but don’t worry about shoes. We have platforms you can stand on. The most important thing? Leave your preconceptions at the door and come to your appointment with an open mind. Don’t worry about the dress sizes…they’re often very different from street clothes anyway. We’ll help you try on several styles that will fit your body, style and personality.

  • Wedding dress shopping is a LOT of fun but can be overwhelming with too many opinions in the room. Bring the family members and friends whose opinions matter most. Perhaps most importantly, bring the people that MUST be there to help you make a decision. If you wait, the dress you love may be gone if you come back later!

  • We love children, but we do not allow them at appointments under the age of 10. This ensures the best use of your valuable time and is also respectful of other brides who are here for their appointments. Not to mention the loose pins, needles, and other small objects that can be found in bridal salons that are safety hazards and are bound to cause worry.

  • Our insurance policy will not allow outside beverages, but we are able to provide drinks for our guests, included in our different packages!

  • Yes! The day you say “YES!” to your dress will be one of the most memorable of your life. Plus, we love being a part of the wedding scrapbook and we’re happy to snap photos for you. Be sure to tag us in your social media!

  • No. Every single one of our wedding gowns is new.

  • No. Something BLUE wedding gowns are a forever keepsake for you to one day share with your daughter or granddaughter.

  • We accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also can help you set up a payment plan.

  • Unfortunately, there are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. There are no exceptions.

  • Most wedding gowns need at least some alterations to ensure the ideal fit, but of course this will vary from dress to dress. Alterations usually take one to two months, so please plan accordingly. Any alterations required are not included in the price of your wedding gown. We provide our brides a list of recommended seamstresses in our area, but they do not work for us and we cannot be held responsible for their work. Of course you may use your own seamstress as well.

  • We have sale gowns on the floor every day, but also run special sales throughout the year. These sales offer even larger discounts than normal.

  • If you select an in-stock dress, we ask for 1/3 of the price down, followed by monthly payments. Of course, if you pay for your dress in full, you are welcome to take it with you that day! For dresses ordered from the designer, we require 50% down before the order can be placed. Once your order is submitted, no changes or cancellations are accepted. The remainder of your balance is required when the dress arrives.
