One of our favorite things to do at Something Blue (other than helping a bride select the dress of her wedding day dreams), is to provide the wedding gown, bridesmaids dresses and tuxedos for inspiration photoshoots. We work together with the photographer and event designer to select the perfect fashion style that will fit seamlessly with the theme and vision of the shoot.
In this most recent case, we teamed up with Debra of
Fulleylove Photography and Katie of
Event Details & Designs for an inspiration shoot at one of our favorite area wedding locations, The Farmhouse in Montgomery, which was published on
Inspired by This. Featuring clean, white shiplap walls, marble tabletops and wood floors, the venue lends itself to any style of décor a bride can dream up, from glitzy and glamorous to simple and elegant.

In this case, the plan was to complement the warm neutral tones of the venue by decorating with lush greenery and providing classic, sophisticated fashion for the models. For the bridal look, we chose Bristol by Sottero and Midgley, a fit and flare gown featuring shimmering lace appliques and beading over tulle and Inessa jersey with a bold, plunging back and crisscrossing straps.
The chiffon bridesmaids dresses in cappuccino from Sorella Vita complement the soft feel of the ivory and green hues of the shoot design, while the model groom looked dashing in his tuxedo featuring the Ike Behar ivory dinner jacket from Squires.
