Something Blue bridal boutique will host the fourth annual Old, New, Borrowed, BLUE Bridal Show on Sunday, January 29 from 1-4 p.m. at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. The event will feature more than 25 vendors and free admission, offering brides-to-be local options for cakes and catering, flowers, photography, wedding planning and decorating, music, venues and of course, fashionable attire for the entire wedding party.

Future brides and grooms can check out several of Something Blue’s current offerings for bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses and tuxedos on mannequins and live models, as well as book appointments to visit the downtown Angleton boutique.

Something Blue stylist Arden Harkreader is heading up the show this year and is excited to bring local brides face-to-face with local vendors.

“This is such a great event because it’s a unique experience and opportunity for brides to meet owners and teams of local vendors…everybody from caterers to videographers,” she said. “They can experience first-hand exactly what they’re investing in and make choices that fit their unique needs.

“One big thing that sets BLUE 2017 apart from other bridal shows is that we offer the small-town, personalized experience with big-city expertise from so many talented wedding professionals. We’ve been working on this show since last year’s event, which was such a great success.”

Whether the big day is just around the corner or a few years away, Harkreader is confident every bride will benefit from attending this year’s event.

“Brides can expect to leave feeling productive and more ready than ever for their big day,” she said. “Our goal is to introduce each bride to vendors that will help eliminate stress, build their excitement and make their wedding that much more memorable. They’ll be able to taste dishes from caterers and drinks from bartenders, view hair and makeup options, meet managers and owners of venues, see beautiful photography and videography, plan their getaways, check out amazing floral design and more.

“Be it taking the first step of planning or deciding on those finishing touches, we can’t wait to meet the brides!”

The Lake Jackson Civic Center is located at 333 Hwy. 332 East. For more information on the event, follow Something Blue on Facebook or call the boutique at 979-849-2583.
