Something Blue was honored to team up with C. Baron Photography and several other fantastic area vendors recently for an inspiration photoshoot at The Farmhouse venue in Montgomery. The shoot was featured in Southern Bride magazine highlighting elegant barn weddings.
The model wore Spanish designer Pronovias’ “Plaza”, a Mikado silk princess-style gown with a draped bodice and plunging V-neckline. Featuring a wide sash under the bust and gathered skirt, the dress was a perfect fit for the simple yet sophisticated style of the shoot.
Something Blue owner and salon director Sandie Walther said the gorgeous simplicity of Plaza was what led her to choose it for the photoshoot.
“I just love the simple lines of it and the fact that it stands on its own without lace, beading or anything else,” she said. “It’s beautiful because of the amazing shape and gorgeous fabric. You have to be a very special designer to design a flawless dress without a bunch of stuff on it and it still look amazing. Pronovias is the only designer that I’ve seen that can do that and hit it spot on every time.”
Something Blue also provided the gold sequin bridesmaids dresses for the shoot, Sorella Vita 8848 (long sleeve) and 8690 (spaghetti strap), which fit perfectly with the elegant theme and metallic accents throughout the venue décor.
