Something Blue to Host 3rd Annual Bridal + Moving Sale

For the third year in a row, Something Blue will participate in the National Bridal Sale Event, July 21-28, along with more than 1,000 other bridal retailers across North America. The weeklong event features significant discounts on off-the-rack designer dresses, allowing brides to shop for great deals on beautiful and fashionable gowns.

As luck would have it, we’re also moving into our newly renovated building across the street at 212 N. Velasco this summer, which means even greater deals for brides. Moving our entire inventory to the new building is going to be a BIG job, so we’re hoping to sell as many dresses as possible so we don’t have to move them all!

Dresses will be marked as low as $99 and $199, with a majority of dresses discounted anywhere between 25 and 50 percent off. Most dresses are sizes 8-14, with some smaller and larger sizes available.

“We’re excited to offer some great discounts on our beautiful off-the-rack dresses during this special, weeklong bridal and moving sale,” Something Blue owner Sandie Walther says. “We’re able to let these beautiful dresses go at such low prices because they are discontinued styles that we aren’t able to order from the designers anymore. Brides can touch and try on THE dress they will wear to their wedding and take it home that very day. This is such a great event because it allows brides who may not have a ‘designer’ budget get a designer dress at a fraction of the usual cost.”

Appointments for our Bridal + Moving Sale are required and may be scheduled by calling or texting 979-308-1044. (We recommend bringing a strapless bra and pair of heels!)

First launched in 2016, the National Bridal Sale starts on the third weekend in July and includes more than 1,000 independent, locally-owned bridal retailers across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
